Book Review: Night Night Peter Rabbit

Yay! My first book review!

Night Night Peter Rabbit is a beautifully crafted cloth book with cuddly-soft Peter Rabbit characters, there are a whopping total of 6 pages in all!. Each page is decorated with a sewn-on Peter Rabbit character doing some form of action, with a simple phrase to accompany that action (e.g. ‘Nibble Nibble’ or ‘Quack Quack’). This is a great introduction to Peter Rabbit and all his friends, and definitely fits our particular nursery theme (Beatrix Potter)

I’ve read it to my son a couple of times, and he enjoys snuggling up to the fleecy-pages (He’s 2 1/2 months old). He also likes watching me repeat the phrases a dozen times… I hope this doesn’t mean that his first words will be “nibble nibble”. This book is aimed at the newborn-18 months age range.

Good Points:
+ The book can double up as a burp cloth if none are available
+ It could also double up as a warm blanket
+ It is probably machine washable, though I haven’t tested this
+ Cute and simple

Not so Good Points:
- Maybe a little on the pricey side (but quality is excellent)
